עמוד מתוך ספר "משנה הלכות" לרב מנשה קליין, אב"ד אונגוואר, חלק רביעי, מדור התשובות אבן העזר-חושן משפט, מהדורא תניינא, סימן א. בתשובה זה משיב המחבר על שמועות שהופצו בשמו בנוגע ל"היתר מאה רבנים" ולמתן גיטין בלחץ, ומבהיר כי לא נתן מעולם היתר כזה ולא חתם עליו, ומתנגד עקרונית להקלות בעניין כפיית גט שאינן מבוססות. הוא מדגיש שאינו רוצה שדבריו יובאו כראיה לעניינים שלא דן בהם, ומתאר זאת כשמועות שווא שהופצו עליו.

In this responsum the author refutes rumors circulated in his name claiming he issued a "heter meah rabbanim" (permission of one hundred rabbis) and pressured a get in a particular case, clarifying that he never gave or signed such a ruling and is opposed in principle to unfounded leniencies regarding coerced divorce. He stresses that his rulings should not be cited as proof for matters he never addressed, calling the rumors about him outright falsehoods.
